This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting snack packs for our classroom. The students are all served breakfast and lunch, but I also ask parents to send in a snack for snack time. Some students do not have snacks from home and I like to provide them with one. These snacks will be used in class for students who need one during snack break.

These items will also be sent home to families who need additional food items.

Many families are new to America and could use the extra food at home. When requested, these snacks will also be sent home.
