My Project

This school year, my 9th grade English students will be participating in a food education fellowship! They will spend the year practicing their English skills and standards through the lens of food and culture. This will include reading, cooking, and growing our own food in the classroom!

These books, cooking utensils, and gardening tools will help my students practice hands-on food education in the classroom!

This is an amazing opportunity that we can finally experience with the proper precautions. I know that any time food is involved, students create core memories that make learning more "sticky."
