This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students come into class wanting a snack to hold them over until lunch or until they get home. Sometimes hunger can distract them from learning. My students love to know that they can ask me for snacks and that I can provide that for them when needed.

The snacks and blankets provided will help keep them fed until their next meal and warm in a cold classroom.

With your help, students will be able to know that in my classroom they can count on a snack and a warm place.
