Food and Safety for the Road

Help me give my students and student athletes healthy snacks to help them focus in and out of the classroom.

My Project

I am requesting items for both the classroom students and my student-athletes. I want to get healthy, protein-rich snacks to keep on hand for the classroom students and to send with my student-athletes when they have away games or forget to pack a snack before practice. Many of these kids come to me hungry throughout the day.

Being the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and the Athletic Director for my school, all the kids come to me for everything.

I always try to keep snacks and water on hand for them.

The second part of my request concerns first aid kits. I am looking for better kits to send with my coaches on the road. Our current ones are big and bulky tool boxes. I want to replace them with easier bags for our first aid and medical supplies. This would also make it easier to carry kids with low blood sugar.
