Help me give my students food and clothing to assist in their transition to America.

This project is fully funded

My Project

My students have just arrived from South America and they are in desperate need of food and clothing to help make them comfortable and ready to learn. My newcomer students are all asylum seekers are ready to learn, they just need a little help to get them going.

We will use the snacks in the morning for a breakfast club and have them available during the day when they have ESL to help nourish them and allow them to concentrate on their learning.

In addition, we will offer them juices.

Clothing, such as socks and pants, will help keep the students clean and comfortable for learning. Items such as hand sanitizer, toothpaste, and creams will be given to the students to use in their shelter.

A few basic supplies, such as labels and scissors, will be used to allow the students to translate their materials from English to Spanish and vice-versa to help them learn.
