My Project
This year our class decided to purchase a rabbit. She is a great asset to our class and everyone loves her. She has free rein of the classroom during the day and has a cage with a "penthouse" that she loves.
Athena requires a lot of supplies and we are running short on those items. We are in need of food to last the rest of the school year and also bedding to keep her cage fresh and clean. My students are so good about cleaning her cage and making sure she has enough food for the night. The skills they are learning by caring for a pet are compassion and planning!
