This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of sensory tools and fidget toys make a difference in my students' learning.

These tools help calm down students when they feel overwhelmed by providing a different sensory input.

Fidget toys and sensory toys also provides an outlet for excessive energy and stimming, making it easier for our students to control and reduce their impulsivity. These tools also help improve learning as they help students listen, pay attention, and focus on the task inside and outside of the classroom. In addition to boosting productivity, these tools give my students fun mental breaks needed to be successful within the classroom.
