Sensory Calming Area for preschoolers
In my classroom, 22% of children are scoring at developing earlier in areas of social-emotional development.
Providing a sensory-based calming space is crucial for targeting our smart goals and providing students with tools that will enhance and support their development. This can be achieved with a light table and accessories such as play materials and manipulatives.
A calming environment helps children to bond and encourages positive interaction, while relaxation promotes soothing, emotional health, and holistic development.
Please help us create a calming space for our wonderful students. Providing this space for our students creates a calming and inviting environment.
