This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, curious, and full of energy. They come to class ready to learn, but like many middle schoolers, they sometimes struggle to sit comfortably and focus for long periods. I love how engaged they become when they feel supported, both academically and physically, and I want to give them a classroom environment where they can do their best work.
The stools with cushioned seats will give every student a comfortable place to sit that promotes good posture and reduces the temptation to lean back in their chairs.
This will help keep our classroom safer and more focused. The two wobble chair seats will be available for students who need extra movement or sensory input to stay on task. These resources will ensure that every student has a seat that meets their needs, allowing them to concentrate on learning instead of discomfort.
