Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with students in special education. This project will give my students seat options and lighting alternatives to help improve focus in the classroom. While working with various sizes of groups, the availability of alternative seating and different lighting, students can focus in an area that is comfortable for them, increasing productivity and learning.
Sometimes students need to wiggle and bounce in the class and having these seat options will give them the perfect opportunity to get those wiggles out appropriately.
Language posters will offer the student support while improving our classroom look. Matching games and word games encourage my students to improve their communication through play. Pencil incentives add additional fun while learning and interacting with each other.
