Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their resilience, curiosity, and energy. They come to school each day ready to learn, even when faced with challenges. My classroom is filled with diverse learners—some need help staying organized, others benefit from movement to stay focused, and many thrive with visual supports during lessons.

Chair pockets will give students their own personal space to keep materials organized and accessible.

This helps reduce lost learning time and supports independence. Pocket charts will be used for interactive lessons, center rotations, and visual schedules—tools that are especially helpful for visual and hands-on learners. Fidgets will provide a quiet way for students to release energy and stay engaged, especially those who benefit from sensory input or struggle with attention.

These resources will create a more structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment—one that meets students where they are and helps them grow academically and socially. I want my students to feel confident, focused, and ready to learn every single day.
