This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Math can feel overwhelming, especially for students who need extra help focusing or managing stress. In my 7th grade classroom, I see students who fidget, tap, or shut down when tasks get challenging. These fidget tools will give students a quiet, non-disruptive way to manage their energy, anxiety, or sensory needs so they can stay present and engaged during math time.
From squishy toys to infinite cubes, each item in this project is meant to help students regulate their focus in a healthy way.
Whether it’s for students with ADHD, anxiety, or just the typical stress of learning something new, these tools will help them feel supported and seen.
With your help, I can create a calmer, more inclusive learning space where every student feels ready to tackle math with confidence.
