My students come to school because every day is a day to become a better person.
My students are 4, 5 and 6 year olds who are very eager to learn.
Most of them come from low income families with only one parent who is struggling to hold the family together. They struggle academically, have emotional and social challenges, and many suffer from family issues that are out of their control. They live in a neighborhood where two-thirds of family household income is below the federal poverty threshold and resources are not available for them.
My Project
My kindergarten students love learning while using our classroom tablets. But there is just one problem they can't hear because they don't have headphones. This year is different though we can not share headphones so every student needs their own set. I want my students to be able to hear what they are learning so they can engage in the lesson. Please help give my students headphones so they can hear the online lesson better. They will also be able to block out the sounds around them as well which will help them to be laser focused.
