Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Pre-K students are bright, curious, and full of energy. They come to school each day ready to explore, learn, and grow through play and hands-on experiences. Many of my students come from low-income households and do not have access to technology or learning tools at home. Our classroom is their safe space—a place where they can develop essential early literacy, math, and communication skills that will serve as the foundation for their future education.

Our classroom uses tablets and computers daily for interactive lessons, digital learning centers, and literacy programs.

However, with a classroom full of eager learners, it can be difficult for children to focus when several devices are playing sound at once.

That’s why I am requesting USB headphones for my students.

These headphones will:

*Help each child focus on their learning program without outside distractions.

*Support children who need extra help with speech, letter recognition, and listening comprehension.

*Create a quieter and calmer classroom environment.

*Help us fully use the amazing educational software we have access to.

Because our devices are newer and do not have headphone jacks, we need USB-compatible headphones to make them work.

Early childhood is a critical time for language and cognitive development. With the right tools, I can better individualize instruction and make sure every child has the chance to succeed—whether they are working on recognizing letter sounds, practicing counting, or listening to a story.

With your help, we can provide the calm, focused environment our youngest learners need to thrive.
