As a special education teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district in southeastern Kentucky, I teach Pre-K. My students are faced with several challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Most parents are unemployed because no jobs are available. I want my students to behave in all opportunities available in our classroom. They can and are successful because they are the best. We have high expectations. I teach them to be positive and to look at the future to know they can achieve their dreams.
My Project
My students love to help decorate and organize our learning space such as the bulletin board and art projects.
The Cricut machine and all the heat press will be used to engage in their creativity.
Therefore, focusing their mind and helping to reduce anxiety and stress during these challenging times. My students are eager and enthusiastic learners and helpers. Having these tools would surely allow them to make fun and colorful projects for our classroom and their general education classroom, as well. Thank you for your continued support of our class!
