Focus on the Fine Motor

Help me give my students the supplies that they need to work on all of their deficit areas. The fat pencils and pencil sharpener will help with writing and fine motor skills.

My Students

This is the 4th year I am teaching a self-contained special education classroom of 3-5-year-olds. This classroom was relocated from another site in our county and was kind of thrown together with older materials. This past year we had to change rooms. The new room is great and we have acclimated well to the new environment. They are wonderful little ones and love making and learning new things every day.

My students this year are in school for the first time!

They are all developmentally delayed in speech, academics, and motor skills and all of the students are completely new to me, our school, and each other.

Our regular pre-K classes have been very generous with their resources and including us in pre-K activities.

My Project

My students are preschool age special needs children. They have various weaknesses in academic, speech and motor skills. Being able to print things from the printer in my room is very important because it allows me to provide my students with colored images.

The students in my room need to work on writing, tracing and cutting skills and the materials in my cart will certainly help them improve in these areas.

Using the cardstock and printer ink to print things in my room will be a time saver and allow me to adapt any lessons that I have planned to each child's individual needs.
