My Project
Many of my students struggle with maintaining their emotions throughout the school day, which significantly inhibits their ability to focus and engage in learning. Emotional regulation challenges often lead to distractions, disruptions, and missed learning opportunities. Incorporating sensory tools into the classroom can provide much-needed support to help students manage these emotional difficulties. These tools—such as fidget items, calming visuals, noise-canceling headphones, or sensory seats—can promote self-regulation and create a more supportive learning environment. With better emotional control, students are more likely to stay focused, participate actively, and achieve greater academic success.
