This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
All of my students are wonderful second language learners who live in the inner city and come to school everyday eager to learn. Some do not speak English at all, while others are fluent and love to help out their fellow classmates. Many have siblings or other relatives in the school, which makes the atmosphere safe, warm and friendly. My students always welcome any newcomers who may join our class mid year, which makes our small close-knit community even that much better.
My Project
My students will greatly benefit through your generous donation. With your help I will be able to dig deeper into my lessons and make connections for my learners through multi-media. I am requesting a media cart so I can easily access and project visual information for all of my students to see. By having all of my technology in one place so I can have easy access to it will help my students engage more in the content of the lesson I am trying to teach them. My English language learners will greatly benefit from having this access to visual aids.
