My Project
I am reaching out with an important and transformative initiative that we believe will greatly impact the lives of our at-risk high school students.
As you may know, the pervasive presence of cell phones has become a significant challenge in the modern education system.
While technology undoubtedly offers numerous benefits, it has also led to a growing obsession among our students to constantly look at their phones, affecting their ability to focus on their studies and establish meaningful connections with peers and educators.
Our high school, like many others, is not immune to this issue. We have observed how excessive cell phone usage negatively impacts classroom participation, academic performance, and overall well-being. As educators and mentors, we are deeply concerned about the long-term consequences this behavior may have on our students' futures.
To address this challenge head-on, we have devised an innovative solution – a Cell Phone Storage Locker System. Our goal is to provide a secure and accessible location for students to temporarily store their cell phones during school hours. By disconnecting from their phones, we aim to create a focused learning environment where students can engage more actively in their studies, build stronger interpersonal relationships, and develop essential life skills beyond the screen.
