This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I recently started using focus buddies in my classroom, and the results have been incredible! Students with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and other sensory needs benefit from weighted focus buddies. Focus buddies help students feel calmer, safer, and more focused, all of which contribute to ideal learning conditions for children.

My role as a music specials teacher means I get to teach students of all abilities and with all sorts of support needs.

These additional resources will make it possible for me to give even more of my students incredible (and adorable!) tools that will help them be successful!
