Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have several students who struggle sitting in their seat. I will use the chair bands and wobble seats to help these children lessen their distractions during instruction and focus on the lesson.
Students use pencils everyday and whiteboard markers every week to show what they learned, express themselves when drawings and to complete classwork in all subjects.
Whiteboard markers and pencils can break, dry out, taken, get lost or sharpened into nubs. My students will use these items everyday.
We have been supplied iPads but there are no individual headphones for my students to focus on their work. Most times, my students are working on different apps in the iPad and can get distracted about what others are doing. The headphones will help my classroom focus on their path and get more work done.
