My Students
My students are high spirited and resilient! I look forward to seeing each day for the possibility of what adventure is in store! They are eager to learn, and when they understand or accomplish an assignment or project they light up with excitement.
I love their spirit!
Their desire to be seen, heard, and recognized. Our students come from varied and difficult backgrounds and socioeconomic tiers, at times it can seem overwhelming for them. My classroom is not only a place of learning for them, but somewhere they know they can come to feel welcome and challenged.
My Project
The ability to be able to move without being penalized for it. Sometimes sitting still for that long is too much to ask. They need to be able to fidget, and move when the need arises.
It will help them to be able to sit still and focus during instruction time and yet be able to have an outlet for their pent up energy.
At times we all need to be able to move and stretch, these wobble chairs would give them the power to do so minus the negative.
