This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After COVID-19, our K-3 students suffered immense learning loss in all areas, but especially in the area of foundational reading skills such as phonics. These foundational skills are pertinent in creating strong readers and preparing our students for the future.
The UFLI Foundations Teacher Manual will not only support student sin their journey to become fluent readers, but also provide teachers with evidence based lessons and strategies to create meaningful and interactive phonics lessons.
