My Project

As the school's STEM teacher, I feel it is important to afford my students the opportunity to engage in extracurricular science experiences that help develop a wide variety of interests. To this end, I would like to teach the physics and applications of drone flight, giving the students a chance to learn how to program and navigate drones in the schoolyard. The use of drones has increased dramatically in both police and military settings and this "Drone Club" will create a hands-on experience for older students to spark further interest and exploration down the road in a career setting.
