At our elementary school, we are dedicated to providing our students with hands-on learning opportunities that foster curiosity and appreciation for nature. We plan to create a Butterfly Garden adjacent to our library, transforming our outdoor space into an interactive learning environment. This project seeks funding for essential resources to establish the garden, which will serve as a living laboratory for students to explore the life cycle of butterflies and their role in our ecosystem.
These butterflies will provide students with a tangible way to learn about biology, ecology, and environmental science through observation and interaction with butterflies and caterpillars.
We hope to teach students the importance of conservation and caring for our environment by involving them in the planting and maintenance of the garden.
The Butterfly Garden will not only beautify our school but also serve as an invaluable resource for hands-on learning. Students will gain firsthand experience observing the life cycle of butterflies, improving their understanding of science in a fun and engaging way.
