Many students hate reading aloud in class. They are afraid that they are going to stumble over the words and embarrass themselves. It is time to give our students the confidence they need to read fluently to their peers!
I am a fourth grade teacher in a high needs school district.
My classroom is very diverse. I have students that read at many various reading levels. Many of the students who come to my classroom, in the beginning of the year, are struggling readers. Please help me teach students the love of reading!
My Project
My students need materials to assist in practicing reading fluently with good pace, intonation, and expression. Students can practice reading fluently with partner based reader's theater scripts and other various activity kits. These tools with give my students the confidence they need to read fluently in class.
With your help we can produce fabulous fluent readers in my classroom and many classrooms to come.
Please help us purchase these fluency games and materials. Thank you for considering our proposal.
