Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over the few years when students were not in school, students did not get as much practice with academic text and longer text. Students with learning differences suffered even more when trying to access the content online. They were only reading the minimum online. The iPads will be used to provide fluency practice for students with fun apps the students can re-read text into. The markers and cubes will be used to provide other visual and physical supports to students learning phonics. Fluency isn't often something that Is fun to work on, but these apps will make it fun.
