My Project
I am seeking your support to provide my bilingual students with sets of books designed to strengthen their reading fluency. These books are carefully selected to meet their unique needs, helping them bridge language gaps, build confidence, and develop a love for reading.
The specific items I’m requesting—books tailored to bilingual learners—will make a significant difference in their learning by offering engaging, accessible materials that build their vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency.
These resources are more than just books; they’re bridges to understanding and mastering two languages, giving students the tools they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
My goal for this project is to create a learning environment where my students feel supported, capable, and excited about reading. By improving their fluency, they will gain the skills and confidence necessary to participate fully in academic activities and unlock their potential for lifelong success.
What makes my students special is their resilience, determination, and eagerness to learn despite the challenges they face as bilingual learners. They bring diverse perspectives and rich cultural backgrounds to the classroom, and their commitment to mastering two languages is truly inspiring. These books will help them overcome barriers and celebrate their unique strengths as they grow into confident, capable readers.
Your generosity can make a lasting difference in their educational journey. Thank you for considering this opportunity to empower young learners and help them achieve their full potential!
