My Project
My students have poured into learning more about the floral industry and are excited to open a school-based, student-led flower shop on campus next year on campus.
In a floral design classroom, integrating technology like a barcode scanner, iPad, and thermal printer enhances learning and efficiency.
The barcode scanner helps students quickly track inventory of flowers, tools, and materials, promoting organization. An iPad allows students to research floral trends, design ideas, and manage digital orders or portfolios. The thermal printer produces clear, professional labels for arrangements and pricing, reinforcing business and marketing skills. Together, these tools simulate a real-world floral shop environment, preparing students for industry expectations while improving workflow, accuracy, and digital literacy in the classroom.
