This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Shelving for paper, baskets, and floor mats offer multifaceted benefits for students in various settings, whether it's a classroom, library, or study area. Firstly, shelving provides a versatile storage solution, allowing students to neatly organize their belongings such as note books and stationery. With designated compartments, students can easily access materials, fostering a sense of independence and organization. Moreover, the visual appeal of well-arranged shelves can create an inviting atmosphere conducive to focused learning and productivity.

Additionally, baskets complement the shelving by offering portable storage options.

Students can use baskets to transport materials between locations, facilitating mobility and flexibility in collaborative activities or group projects. Furthermore, baskets serve as aesthetically pleasing accents, adding texture and warmth to the learning environment. By incorporating baskets alongside shelving, educators can encourage students to take ownership of their space, instilling valuable organizational skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Finally, a floor mat for the classroom can be the first item students see and know that their class will be more of a home.
