Flocking to Robotics & Coding With Hummingbird Kits!

Help me give my students more appealing technologies to increase engagement, match individual learning styles and curiosities, and increase opportunities in coding and making with hummingbird robotics this year.

My Project

This summer I spent 90 hours of professional development learning to use MS Makecode, Chibitronics, Microbits, and Hummingbird Robotics kits to bring that learning back to meet the needs of my gifted learners. With quarter 1 DonorsChoose projects, I've acquired many makerspace building materials, STEAM books, and lots of circuitry materials.

We've started our block coding learning with MS Makecode and doing simple make projects with our class set of micrbits and we are now ready for making with coding + microbits + Hummingbird robotics for more complex builds in our makerspace!

I had one Hummingbird kit from my summer PD, 3 more brains purchased from my school, but 2 more Hummingbird Kits would help me reach more students and make a huge impact on our ability to build more.
