My Students

We have an amazing group of students, teachers, and families! The students at our school are diverse, curious, and excited about learning!

Our students love engaging, hands-on learning experiences!

They thrive in classrooms where there are rigorous, relevant learning opportunities. We are in the process of transforming our school into a 21st century focused, trauma informed school. We want to personalize learning and strive to meet the needs of all our students. This project will benefit 574 new 6th graders. About 50% of our students receive free or reduced-price​ lunch.

My Project

Flocabulary subscriptions will help students learn science, social studies, math and language arts vocabulary terms using a medium that students can relate to! All students learn differently. Flocabulary will provide a unique, rap based music style to vocabulary terms to help students connect with the material and learn through music and flow.

Our school is requesting 5 classroom subscriptions of Flocabulary to specifically be used in science, social studies, math and language arts.

Students will love the videos, songs, and games. We will encourage student voice and choice in content selection to best meet the diverse needs of our students. Our goal is to help students see themselves reflected in ways that break stereotypes and validate their identities.
