My Project
Flocabulary is an engaging tool to use in the classroom during whole group and small group instruction. Flocabulary takes math, science, social studies, reading skills, and current events and turns them into songs and raps that students can remember. I specifically use this in the math and science classroom. Once students have completed the vocabulary or lyric lesson in Flocabulary they will be able to use one of the plush toys for a period of time as an incentive to complete the assignment.
Students use this information to learn different strategies and can sing or listen to the songs to recall important information.
In the past, our school has paid for a Flocabulary subscription, this year they are not. My students love to use this resource and I hope that I am able to allow them to experience this in the classroom this year!
