My Project

Help my students get excited about reading with a hands-on STEM learning challenge. One of our books for our library's annual Battle of the Books competition this year features the true story of a Thai soccer team that created their own floating field so they could play year-round instead of based on the tides. It is a story of perseverance and creativity- exactly what we are encouraging in our students. Let's give them a chance to put those skills to the test by creating their own floating mini-soccer fields during their library visit. Students will be given clay, coffee filters, paper, and other materials to create a floating field, can they rise to the challenge? With your help, I bet they can!
