My Students
A typical day in my classroom is loud, energetic, and fast-paced. I teach two high school band courses, music appreciation, yearbook, and co-teach middle school band. My students work extremely hard to come together and develop their musical skills, both as soloists and as part of an ensemble.
My school is a rural Title I school in Oklahoma.
I am currently living my dream of teaching band at my alma mater. The band is known for a long-standing tradition of excellence, and I intend to continue that tradition for many years to come.
My Project
We are already planning ahead for next marching season. Our marching band continues to grow every year, which means we need more supplies than ever to accommodate our growing band. The flip folders hold the sheet music securely in place, and the literature organizers will allow us to store them in the band room efficiently. We will need these items for our upcoming marching season.
We have big things planned for the band.
We love being a part of football games, basketball games, parades, and more. Without these supplies, we are not able to participate in the things we want to. Your support has been the key to keeping our program adequately funded and continually growing.
