My Students

Our school is a wonderful elementary school, in a rural setting just outside a bustling city. It has been an A+ school for the last 4 years! I am the AIG Specialist and focus on challenging all learners. This year I work primarily with fourth and fifth grade, as well as enrichment for kindergarten. I complete qualification assessments, files, and advanced academics extra-curricular activities for all students K-5th grade. Our school not only has inquisitive students but we are all part of a warm community. Thank you for being part of our village to support the children of our town and the surrounding area!

My Project

The swivl is a tool we will use to video lessons and presentations to engage learners! Students will use the swivl to video presentations for self-reflection, sharing learning, and building on each others' knowledge. They will use Flipgrid to post content for peers to review and comment to spur further investigation.

I will also use it to video lessons for a flipped classroom.

Through Google Classroom students view content and utilize class time to collaborate with peers. Students will expand their education beyond the walls of our classroom and explore new avenues in technology! Can you help us flip and swivl?
