My Project
My students and school are very interested in implementing greater depths and breadth of knowledge for aeronautical studies. Students have been engaging with camera drones this past year but their basic level does not lend themselves to higher depths of learning. Students master the basic drone controls and have minimal things to work towards beyond the very supported control of a stabalized camera drone. Students quickly get trained and are able to proficiently fly these devices. With this minimal depth, the question then becomes: How can we engage students for longer and go deeper into this topic?
I'm asking for your help in providing students the mobile equipment to setup and use flight simulator equipment.
By providing these laptops and control mechanisms, my school will be able to deploy this setup in our multiple ROTC rooms and maximize the reach of our program. These laptops are sufficient enough to give students a mobile smooth, albeit pixelated, flight simulator experience that our school is severely lacking. This would be a great opportunity for my students to go down a path of inquiry with immense depths. Students can work towards a near infinite proficiency well of aviation in our simulator and hone their skills.
