Flight School for the Future: OBE Elementary Drone Explorers

My Project

What I love most about my Drone Club students is their curiosity, creativity, and teamwork. They show up eager to learn, problem-solve, and support one another through challenges, whether it's their first flight or a competition. They are truly inspiring!

The resources on our DonorsChoose list are carefully chosen to help these young pilots grow in meaningful ways.

Additional, more advanced drones will allow students to build real-world skills in coordination, critical thinking, and career exploration—preparing them for futures in STEM fields like engineering, aviation, and technology. Safety glasses are essential for creating a safe environment during flight practice and indoor sessions, ensuring all students can participate with confidence. And weekly snacks at our team meetings help build a sense of community and keep energy high as we plan, fly, and learn together.
