My Students

My class consists of 25 energetic, creative, and smart first graders. I teach in a Title I school and 100% of my students receive free lunch. My school has a high percentage of children from low-income families. Not every family has the financial stability to supply the children with the proper supplies to be successful in school. They are eager, active learners who come to school ready to learn each day.

My school is in a low-income area and my students face many challenges.

Despite the challenges they face outside of school my students strive to do their very best. My students motivate me to be the best teacher ever. They are very encouraging, and they bring joy to my class every day.

My Project

I have a group of highly motivated first graders that are always on the move over the course of the school day. It can be difficult to sit in a firm chair for the most of the day. I want to create an environment in my classroom where my students can relax and wriggle while they are learning new things. I want my students to be able to burn off all of their excess energy while still being productive.

Let’s flex while learning.

I'd like to get a bean bag chair so that my students can relax while reading a book. My students will benefit from the wobble chairs since they will be able to bounce about while finishing their task. I want to provide my pupils with a flexible learning environment, and the flex space products will assist us in accomplishing this goal.
