My Project
My students have flexible seating options in my classroom, however, there isn't a lot of variety. Everything they have to choose from is the same height and the same resistance.
Having flexible seating has really focused my students' attention on what they need to learn at their very best.
They have become very aware of what works and what doesn't when it comes to their seating choices. I have some taller tables at which some students stand, but they often request stools to be able to sit at these tables. In addition, some of the students prefer to sit on a more sturdy piece of furniture at my lower tables. The stools in this project adjust to many different heights so students have the ability to truly employ flexible seating options.
