This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to give my creative fifth graders flexible seating options! My list consists of 3 flexible seating options that will directly benefit student enrichment.
My classroom needs floor cushions so students can engage in more authentic, quiet and comfortable reading and writing time.
Many of my students have difficulty focusing on their independent work when refined to their desks, resulting in discouraged and frustrated students. When given the option to pick a comfortable spot, the quality of learning increases.
For times when desks are needed, kick bands are a great addition for anxious wiggles and refocusing students.
