My students need flexible seating to help improve their attention to tasks. I have chosen two different kinds of flexible cushions to use as stations for flexible seating.
My students are a wonderful mix of personalities! They are funny and sweet, charismatic and kind. We have a literacy and STEM focused school and we are in need of materials to facilitate our learning in and out of the classroom. We are a neighborhood school so many of these students will be here for the duration of their Elementary school days. There are many uses for the materials we are asking for throughout our day: math, literacy, science, social studies, etc. Thank you for helping us out!
My Project
I am trying to get flexible seating options including Flex Space Wobble Cushions, for my students in First Grade.
Flexible seating is a great way to increase student learning outcomes, plus still giving them the chance to be a kid!
They are very active and I do believe that having different seating options would highly benefit them to increase their attention span and giving them the autonomy to choose their own path for learning.
Kids move all day long and using flexible seating gives them an outlet to let energy out without becoming a distraction to others in the class.
