Flexible Table Seating for Students

My Project

My students are driven and excited to learn. They want to be in control of their own learning. Flexible seating will give students each of these things. During independent work time and reading, my students love to sit on the floor and throughout the room. By giving students flexible seating options I will be able to take their love of sitting where they want and bring it past independent work time to whole group instruction. By doing this, I will be able to provide my students the ability to take control of their learning and have a say in how and where they learn throughout each learning day.

Having options to complete classwork in a flexible environment will allow students to have ownership and create a comfortable environment for them to focus on academic material.

When donating to our class project you will be helping students have a comfortable environment and gain ownership in their day. The items I have selected will give my students an option to have flexible seating at the tables in our classroom. They will have the ability to choose their seats and where they need to work that day.

I have seen when my students have the ability to choose their seats they are more focused on their work, and I want to be able to provide my students with a place they are comfortable and focused on their learning.
