My Project
Our students play for periods of time during the day. There are several times within our schedule where we need the students to sit; to focus on academics (math, science, social studies, literacy).
Life is like gymnastics; It's better if you're flexible.
Learning environments can have a direct impact on student achievement. Many flexible seating options stimulate students' sense of touch. This type of stimulation can help my students focus and process information. The sensory input is especially helpful for students with ADHD, ADD, and ASD.
With flexible seating I'm hopeful to have more active, engaged, enthusiastic, and relaxed room of students.
