My Project

My fourth graders are an energetic, curious, and hardworking group of learners who thrive when they have choices in how and where they learn. Each student brings something special to our classroom—whether it’s a love of math, a talent for creative thinking, or a quiet determination to do their best.

My students will benefit from tools that support movement, collaboration, and focused independent work.

These desks can be lowered for comfortable seated work, raised for standing, or tilted upright to create a vertical whiteboard workspace. Students who need a calmer, quieter spot away from the group will be able to use these desks to regroup and work independently. I also envision students using the vertical surface to solve math problems with partners, check each other’s thinking, and share strategies, turning math practice into an interactive, hands-on experience.

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to purchase additional math resources that support understanding, problem-solving, and differentiation. These materials will help me meet the needs of all learners, from those who need extra practice to those ready to extend their thinking beyond grade level. I am especially excited to provide higher-level work to a select group of students who are excelling beyond their grade level.

With your support, my students will have access to flexible learning spaces and engaging materials that help them focus, collaborate, and grow as mathematicians. Thank you for helping create a classroom where every student can succeed.
