My Project

My fifth graders are bright, creative, and ENERGETIC! This year they are facing more academic demands than ever before, including three state tests in the spring. I strive to make my classroom feel safe and comfortable with the hope that their stress levels with decrease and they can focus on learning.

My students are very hardworking and love any opportunity they have to "work around the room" aka find a space they feel comfortable to learn in.

Flexible seating such as floor seats and kick bands for the desks will help meet their sensory and physical needs.

A student's need to wiggle or desire to sit away from a desk shouldn't interfere with their learning. With your donations, my students will know that their classroom is a place where they can learn and feel comfortable while they do!
