This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is all about inclusion. Flexible seating will provide much-needed movement for my five and six-year-old students during small group instruction. Having students move around the room to switch to different learning stations is one way to keep them moving and engaged in their learning.
The wobble stools will also help students focus while engaged in reading, writing, science, and math.
Students will have the option to use their regular chair or a wobble stool during this time. Also, students may use the stool during other times of the day to help them stay engaged. There are so many benefits of having flexible seating in kindergarten, and your support will provide students with another tool to be successful throughout the day.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
