This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating will help give my students the option to learn in the way that is best for them. By giving my students flexible seating options that allow for movement, I will be appealing to all types of students and learners. My goal is that every student will be able to have the option of flexible seating and that they will not have to use the same one every day. For example, all options that I have chosen allow for movement, giving students who want their flexible seating to have movement three options..
This would benefit my students because I am at a Title 1 school, where my students do not have as many resources as others.
My students will thrive in a classroom that feels like a home and have parts in their days that allow for choices, such as the ability to pick flexible seating and learn in the way that is best for them. Thank you for supporting my students and I!
