My goal with this project is to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports the needs of each and every one of my students. Flexible seating has been something that I am very passionate about and have wanted to incorporate into my classroom, but never had the funds to do so.
The wobble stools would help with stimulation for my students who have ADHD or attention difficulties.
They are able to move around in their spots and maintain focus, without disrupting other students. This option for seating will help those students feel seen and empowered in the classroom.
The large pillows are for students to use when we are working and reading around the room. My students love to sit on the floor or in the halls during this time, so the pillows would provide a comfortable space for them.
Overall, these flexible seating choices provide a positive learning environment for my students! We would be so grateful to have these in the classroom!
