This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of our students will benefit from having safe, comfortable, clean, flexible seating options throughout the classroom. Students need different places to sit around the room to work independently and with each other.
With this new carpet, my students will have a place to sit during whole-group instruction and small-group instruction.
This will support our classroom community by allowing us to come together as a group for whole-group lessons rather than having to stay at our desks.
This will also be a place for them to have thoughtful discussions about their learning with each other, which will help them continue to enjoy learning.
